What are Orthotics?
Orthotics are inserts fitted in your shoes to maintain proper alignment of foot and provide maximum stability and support during weight bearing activities. Custom made orthotics relieves the pressure on the feet, knees, hips and spine.
How Orthotics works?
Foot & ankle forms the foundation of the body. Arches of our feet are under constant pressure & strain during weight bearing activities like walking, running and standing and could result in imbalances and injuries with abnormal foot mechanics. Orthotics supports the arches of the foot and provides better alignment of not only the feet but also of knees, hips, pelvis and lower back. During weight bearing activities orthotics help to redistribute the weight throughout the foot reducing pressure and strain on the heels.
